Friedrich , Duke of Braunschweig and Lüneburg (* August 28, 1574 , † December 10, 1648 ) was Prince of Lüneburg from 1636 to 1648 . He was Bishop Adjutor of the Diocese of Ratzeburg and elected Provost of the Archdiocese of Bremen .

He was the tenth child of Wilhelm the Younger (Braunschweig-Lüneburg) (1535–1592) and his wife Dorothea of ​​Denmark (1546–1617), daughter of King Christian III. of Denmark (1503–1559). It belonged to the Neu-Lüneburg house.

Duke Friedrich was buried in the royal crypt in the town church of St. Mary in Celle.
