Fritz Kiersch
Fritz kiersch (* 23 July 1951 as George Keith Kiersch in Alpine , Texas ) is an American film director.
Life
Kiersch his debut as a film director in 1984 was the horror film Children of the Corn , which on the short story Children of the Corn ( Children of the Corn ) by Stephen King based. For this he received an award at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival for Best Fantasy Film.
Other films of different genres followed. For his last film as a director - The Hunt from 2006 - Kiersch also worked as a screenwriter for the first time.
In 2009 and 2011 he appeared as a film producer.
