Fritz Peter Knapp

Fritz Peter Knapp (born April 6, 1944 in Vienna ) is an Austrian German scholar and literary scholar .

Life

After graduating as Dr. phil. at the University of Vienna in 1968 and habilitation there in 1973, he became professor in Passau in 1982 and in Heidelberg for older German philology in 1996.

Knapp wrote numerous articles in the Biographical-Bibliographical Church Lexicon (BBKL).
