Front tooth

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An anterior tooth is a tooth in the anterior region. In humans, these include the eight incisors (teeth 12, 11, 21, 22, 32, 31, 41, 42 in the FDI tooth scheme ) and the four canines (teeth 13, 23, 33, 43). In contrast to the posterior teeth, the anterior teeth have no chewing surfaces. For most people, the appearance and position of their front teeth is important because they are particularly visible.
