Fußball Bild was a German sports newspaper focusing on football . It was published Monday through Saturday from January 20, 2017 by Verlag Axel Springer SE . According to its own statement, it offered "the best of the Bild sports editorial team plus many exclusive extras". The print run was 300,000 copies. Springer Verlag did not announce the number of copies sold. According to media reports, it was between 40,000 and 55,000 copies in 2017 and thus fell far short of expectations. On November 9, 2018, the publisher announced in a press release that Fußball-Bild would be discontinued at the end of 2018.
