Fujiwara no Okikaze
Fujiwara no Okikaze ( Japanese 藤原 興 風 ; dates unknown) was a Japanese waka poet of the Heian period . He is one of the thirty-six immortals in poetry .
He was a great-grandson of Fujiwara no Hamanari and received in 914 with the Shimousa no gon no daijō ( 下 総 権 大 掾 ) a high post in the administration of Shimousa Province .
Okikazes poems are part of various imperial poem anthologies such as the Kokin-wakashū . The poem 34 by Ogura Hyakunin Isshu is also from Fujiwara no Okikaze.
