Fynn Hangstein (born March 23, 2000 in Detmold ) is a German handball and beach handball player . Hangstein plays for the handball Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo .

In 2018, Hangstein passed his Abitur at the Marianne-Weber-Gymnasium in Lemgo . Hangstein then began training as a banker at Sparkasse Lemgo . He began his sporting career in the youth team of TBV Lemgo. Hangstein also plays in the handball team in the third division.

In 2018 Hangstein became U18 beach handball European champion. He plays in the middle back position. He took part with the national beach handball team in the 2019 European Championship , with which he finished 6th. During the tournament he scored 48 points.
