Gönül Bredehorst (born July 24, 1973 ) is a German social worker and politician ( SPD ). She was elected a member of the Bremen Citizenship in May 2019 .

education and profession

Bredehorst graduated from high school in 1994 at the Rübekamp school center in Bremen- Walle . From 1996 to 1998 she trained as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk at Canico. She studied political science from 1994 to 1996 and 2014 to 2019 at the University of Bremen . She worked at Canico from 1998 to 2000 and then at Henry Lamotte Oils until 2014.

She is married and has two kids.

Bredehorst has been a member of the SPD in the SPD local association Bremen-Findorff since 2010 and is active there in various functions. From 2014 to 2016 she was a member of the board of the SPD sub-district city. From 2011 to 2019 she was a member of the advisory board of the Findorff district and since 2015 advisory board spokeswoman. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Deputation for Social Affairs, Youth and Integration of the Bremen citizenship . In 2018, the SPD's mandate commission placed it in 20th place on the SPD list for the 2019 state election.

In autumn 2019 she became a member of the Bremen citizenship and is represented as a member in the following bodies:

  • Works committee environmental company Bremen
