Günter Jankowiak

Günter Jankowiak (born February 20, 1951 in Berlin ) is a German actor, musician, author and director. He writes and directs for children and youth theater .

Life

From 1982 to 1991 Jankowiak worked at the Rote Grütze Theater , since then as a freelancer and in cooperation with the Havarie, Potsdam and Strahl, Berlin theaters. With the latter, pieces such as Unkaputtbar (1995), Wilder Panther, Keks (1996), Romeo X Julia (2001), Mit arger List (2006), Frühlings Stürme (2009), Nathan (2012), FRÄMMT (2014) and #BerlinBerlin (2017).

In total, he has written more than 25 plays (partly in collaboration with co-authors), many of which have been staged at home and abroad. Some have been translated into English, Russian, Estonian and Dutch, among others. Some pieces were created in collaboration with Ingrid Ollrogge, such as knick-knacks and stulle play frog prince , palm trees in front of Usedom , love comes or good day, beautiful life .
