Günter R. Witte

Günter R. Witte (* 1933 ) is a German biologist . Until his retirement he was a professor at the University of Kassel and wrote a. a. a standard work on the European mole .

Career and work

Witte received his doctorate in 1965 from the University of Bonn . Later he was head of the working group Didactics of Biology and Science Education at the University of Kassel. He researched and wrote mainly about mammals , but also about native bumblebee species and flower ecology. In addition, he dealt with didactic and methodological questions in his subject and is the author of several teaching and teaching films for schools and universities.
