The GAZon NEXT ( Russian ГАЗон NEXT) is a truck made by the Russian vehicle manufacturer Gorkowski Avtomobilny Sawod . The model has been built since 2014 and is the successor to the GAZ-3307 . There is a variant of the vehicle with all-wheel drive under the name Sadko NEXT , which is the successor to the GAZ-3308 .

The GAZon NEXT is a light two-axle truck with rear-axle drive and a gross vehicle weight of 8.7 tons. It is offered with different body variants ex works. Platform models are supplied, but also refrigerated vehicles or special vehicles for authorities or for winter service . Garbage trucks are also built. The built-in diesel engine is a Russian make by JaMZ with around 110 kW of power and a displacement of 4.43 liters.

Series production of the GAZon NEXT started at GAZ in Nizhny Novgorod on September 19, 2014, the investment costs for the new production line amounted to more than 2.3 billion rubles. In this context, it is unclear whether production of the predecessor GAZ-3307 was stopped at the same time, but this vehicle is no longer offered.

At the end of 2015, a GAZon NEXT in the basic configuration cost around 1.4 million rubles (around € 20,000 at the time).

According to the manufacturer, the GAZon NEXT is available in over 300 model variants. The following list is limited to the most important basic variants.

  • GAZ-С41R13-10 - standard model with a single cabin and a short wheelbase of 3770 mm
  • GAZ-С41R33-10 - standard model with a single cabin and a long wheelbase of 4515 mm
  • GAZ-ГАЗ-С41R33-10 - Version designated as GAZon NEXT City. The entire vehicle is lower and has a lower loading sill. The wheelbase is 3770 mm.
  • GAZ-С41R33-10 - GAZon NEXT City with a long wheelbase of 4515 mm
  • GAZ-С42R33-10 - standard model with a long wheelbase and a double cab
  • GAZ-С41R33-1010 - standard model with tarpaulin, long wheelbase
  • GAZ-С41R13-1010 - standard model, but with a body as a refrigerated vehicle , short wheelbase
