The municipal administration association Plochingen is a municipal administration association in the Esslingen district in Baden-Württemberg .

history

The association was founded on January 1, 1975. The administrative association is based in Plochingen.

Member municipalities

tasks

The association advises the member communities in the performance of their tasks. He takes care of the following affairs and business for the member communities on their behalf:

  • the technical matters relating to the binding land-use planning and the implementation of land management measures as well as measures according to the Urban Development Act,
  • the planning, construction management and local construction supervision in building construction and civil engineering projects,
  • the maintenance and development of the second-order waters.

Instead of the member communities, the association fulfills the following tasks in its own responsibility:

  • the preparatory land-use planning
  • the tasks of the carrier of the road construction load for the communal roads.
  • the tasks of catering law.

The association has also been the lower building law authority since June 1, 1976.

Association meeting

The main body of the association is the association assembly. It originally consisted of the mayors of the member communities and 17 other representatives, four of whom were from the Altbach community, four from the Deizisau community and nine from the city of Plochingen. In the meantime, the distribution of seats is based on the d'Hondt maximum number method. None of the member communities have more than half of the seats including the seat of their mayor.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors has also been established. It consists of the mayors of the member communities.

Association chairman

The association chairman is elected by the association assembly from among its members for a period of five years. He is responsible for the day-to-day business. The chairman has been the mayor of the city of Plochingen since the association was founded.
