The Autonomous County of Gengma of the Dai and Va ( 耿马 佤族 佤族 自治县 , Gěngmǎ Dǎizú Wǎzú Zìzhìxiàn ; short: 耿马 县 Gěngmǎ Xiàn) is an autonomous district of the Dai and Va of the district-free city of Lincang (临沧) in the west of the Chinese province of Yunnan . In 1999 it had 245,251 inhabitants.
The Shifodong Cave Site ( Shifodong yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-18) since 1996 .
Administrative structure
At the municipality level, the autonomous district consists of four large municipalities and five municipalities (one of which is a nationality of the Lahu and Blang ). These are:
- Greater community Gengma (耿马镇)
- Greater community Mengyong (勐永镇)
- Greater community Mengsa (勐撒镇)
- Mengding municipality (孟 定 镇)
- Daxing municipality (大兴 乡)
- Community Manghong (the Lahu and Blang ) (芒洪拉祜族布朗族乡)
- Sipaishan Township (四 排 山乡)
