Gerlinde Schlenker

Gerlinde Schlenker , temporarily married name Gerlinde Voigt (* as Gerlinde Dittmar on January 13, 1946 in Eisleben ) is a German medievalist .

Life

Gerlinde Schlenker studied history and sports at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU). She completed her studies in 1970 with the state examination and was a teacher until 1972. In 1972 she became a research assistant, in 1979 senior assistant in the science department of the History / Citizenship Section of the MLU. The PhD A took place in 1980. She qualified as a professor in 2000. The reviewers were Hans-Joachim Bartmuß , Walter Zöllner and Matthias Springer . Schlenker has been a research assistant at the Institute for History at MLU since 1991. It deals with the history of the Liudolfinger (Ottonen) and medieval agricultural history as well as with regional history, especially regional historical research on Cistercian and Benedictine monasteries, bishops, noble families, the rivers Saale and Unstrut, the region of the Mansfeld region and the Everyday history in the Middle Ages. She is a scientific adviser to the educational association "Studium Hallense eV". Schlenker was temporarily married and known as Gerlinde Voigt.
