Gertrud Brücher

Gertrud Brücher (* 1951 ) is a German philosopher and political scientist . She works as a private lecturer at the Philipps University of Marburg .

Career

Brücher was born in 1986 with a dissertation on the subject of “Distortion of perception and violence. Functional-Structural Systems Theory and Peace Research ”with Hans Nicklas and Iring Fetscher in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . In March 2001 she completed her habilitation at the Distance University in Hagen in the subject of philosophy with the Venia "Peace Studies and Social Theory".

Since the summer semester of 1994 she has been teaching in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Philosophy at the Philipps University of Marburg. Until the institute was closed in the winter semester 2009/10, she also worked as a private lecturer at the Institute for Peace and Democracy at the FernUniversität Hagen.
