The rules of procedure of the Federal Constitutional Court ( GOBVerfG ) are the rules of procedure of the Federal Constitutional Court issued on the basis of Section 1 (3 ) BVerfGG . It is published in the Federal Law Gazette (Section 69 GOBVerfG).

The GOBVerfG is divided into two parts: Part A contains regulations on the organization and administration of the Federal Constitutional Court (§§ 1-19), Part B contains procedural provisions (§§ 20-70). The latter is subdivided into 10 titles: They contain procedural regulations

  • on the procedure in general (Title 1),
  • on the procedure in the case of representation in accordance with Section 15 (2) sentence 2, 19 (4) BVerfGG (Title 2),
  • on the procedure in the chambers pursuant to Section 81a and Sections 93b to 93d BVerfGG (Title 3),
  • on the procedure in the committee pursuant to Section 14 (5) BVerfGG (Title 4),
  • on the procedure in the plenum in accordance with Section 16 BVerfGG (Title 5),
  • on the procedure in plenary sessions in accordance with Section 105 BVerfGG (Title 6),
  • on the procedure for submitting a special opinion in accordance with Section 30 (2) BVerfGG (Title 7),
  • on the procedure in plenary session in accordance with Section 7a BVerfGG (Title 8),
  • via the General Register (AR) of the Federal Constitutional Court (Title 9) and
  • Final provisions (Title 10).
