Business park

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An industrial park is a related industrial area that is developed and implemented by private entrepreneurs according to a uniform concept and whose areas are then sold or rented to commercial or service companies. The advantage is the joint and thus inexpensive use of the infrastructure of the business park. The name Gewerbepark was coined by the Regensburg business park and later copied throughout Germany.

In particular, start- up parks are being set up that offer young entrepreneurs space, facilities and infrastructure on a subsidized basis.

Business parks are also sometimes referred to as "business parks".
