Gil Santos

Gil Santos (born April 19, 1938 in Acushnet , Massachusetts , † April 19, 2018 ) was a long-time radio presenter for the New England Patriots . He also hosted a news program on WBZ , a Boston radio station , but gave it up in late January 2009. His moderation for the New England Patriots ended in 2013.

Since 1966, with a break between 1980 and 1990, he moderated the Patriots' games on the radio. He also hosted the games on television for three years. He also worked for ABC as a radio presenter for sporting events, for example he reported on the 1984 Summer Olympics . Since 1990, he worked with former kicker of the Patriots Gino Cappelletti together.
