Globus is a Croatian- language weekly magazine from Zagreb .

Globus first appeared in December 1990 when Croatia was on the way to independence. The magazine stood out for its objectivity. It did not shy away from examining the opaque privatizations in young Croatia and tried to take an objective stance during the Croatian war , unlike many other media outlets at the time. Even after the end of the war in 1995, Globus was one of the few media critical of the government and was thus an important opposition platform.

Today Globus describes itself as a modern, democratic and liberal magazine. It is published by Europapress Holding .
