Gonzalo Argüelles Bringas
Gonzalo Argüelles Bringas (born February 28, 1877 in Orizaba , † March 27, 1942 in Mexico City ) was a Mexican painter.
biography
After studying at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, Argüelles went to France for further training, where he lived for three years, before going back to Mexico, where he worked with Diego Rivera , among others . His works are predominantly oil paintings and watercolors . Some of his pictures are now in the holdings of the Museo de Arte del Estado de Veracruz (MAEV).
