Gordon Daniel
Gordon Daniel (* 1923 , † August 2009 in Cornwall , England ) was a British engineer who in 1967 the Oscar for best sound effects won.
Life
Daniel began his career as a sound engineer in the film industry in 1959 for the film The Shameless (Serious Charge) and was involved in the production of almost fifty films by 1988.
At the Academy Awards in 1967, he won the Oscar for best sound effects in the film Grand Prix (1966) by John Frankenheimer with James Garner , Eva Marie Saint and Yves Montand in the leading roles .
