Gordon Robertson
Gordon Robertson (born June 25, 1926 in Castlegar , British Columbia , † October 10, 2019 ) was a Canadian ice hockey player . At the 1952 Winter Olympics , he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Gordon Robertson began his career as a hockey player in 1945 with the junior team Nanaimo Clippers. He then spent almost his entire career in the senior sector until 1960, with several interruptions, with the Trail Smoke Eaters from the Western International Hockey League. Only in 1952 did he represent Canada as a guest player with the Edmonton Mercurys at the Winter Olympics.
International
For Canada Robertson took part in the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo , where he won the gold medal with his team. In eight games he scored four goals and six assists.
