The Gräbersberg is 513.1  m above sea level. NHN the highest elevation of the western Westerwald , i.e. the landscape from the Nister in the east to the Rhine in the west. On the slope of the Gräbersberg east lies the village of Alpenrod, which belongs to the Hachenburg association . Observation tower

The 73 meter high Gräbersberg observation tower was built on the Gräbersberg in 1998 by the mobile network operator E-Plus . At a height of 33 m, it has a viewing platform with a diameter of 8.5 m.
