Gregory Errol Chamitoff (born August 6, 1962 in Montreal , Canada ) is a retired American astronaut .
Astronaut activity
He was a flight engineer of Expedition 17 allocated and launched the space shuttle -Flight STS-124 to the International Space Station . On November 30, 2008, he returned to Earth with STS-126 .
On August 11, 2009, Chamitoff was nominated for the STS-134 shuttle mission . The launch of this last mission of the space shuttle Endeavor took place on May 16, 2011, the landing on June 1.

Chamitoff is married and has two children.
