Border cadastre

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The border cadastre in Austria was created in the course of the Measurement Act 1968 (VermG) and, in contrast to the property tax cadastre, is a legal cadastre.

In the sense of a multi-purpose cadastre, it also serves to make the types of use, the dimensions of the areas of use and properties visible, and, if necessary, to make the yield indicators visible, as well as other information to make the properties easier to identify.

The conversion from the property tax cadastre to the border cadastre is taking place gradually. The introduction of the border cadastre in a cadastral municipality can take place through general new creation or partial new creation, whereby such procedures are initiated by an ordinance of the Federal Office for Metrology and Surveying . The prerequisite is the presence of a fixed point field. Around 12% of the properties are currently registered in the border cadastre.

The properties are entered in the boundary cadastre on the basis of precisely defined technical and legal procedures, after which the boundaries are legally binding in the cadastre.

From 1989 onwards, work began on digitizing the analog data. By transforming old plans and hand plans into the land surveying system or displaying usage information from aerial photographs, the informative value of the cadastral map was increased, especially with regard to current usage conditions and the correct location of the properties.

The land surveying office is responsible for restoring disputed borders based on the documents in the border cadastre .

The address register is part of the border cadastre (§ 9 VermG ).
