Guinea Grass

Guinea Grass or Guinea Grass Town is a community in the Orange Walk District in northwest Belize . The population is 2510 inhabitants (census, 2000) and, according to official estimates, rose to 2895 inhabitants in 2005. The place is mainly inhabited by emigrants from Taiwan . Guinea Grass lies at an altitude of 38 m above sea level. d. M., about 10 km off the Northern Highway . The place can be reached by bus from Orange Walk Town .
