Gunder Andersson

Åke Arne "Gunder" Andersson , (born September 13, 1943 in By, Avesta municipality ) is a Swedish writer and cultural journalist .

Life

Andersson made his debut in 1973 with the collection of novellas Över skaklarna and has published articles on the cultural pages of the newspapers Aftonbladet and Helsingborgs dagsblad since the 1970s . In his first short stories, he described the attempt by the working class to break out of their social environment. In addition to educational novels like Alla chanser! (All chances!) And comma ifatt! (Open up!) And plays, he has also written books on the subject of sports. The works Pojken i brunnen (The Boy in the Well) and Baskermannen, döden och Joe Walcott (The Man in the Beret, Death and Joe Walcott) have autobiographical traits . Andersson was a member of the Fyrskift group of writers , which was awarded the Ivar Lo Prize in 1990. His novella Dubbel-8 has been filmed.
