Hébert Peck

Hébert Peck (* 1958 in Port-au-Prince , Haiti ) is a Haitian film producer .

Life

Like his brothers, Peck was born in Port-au-Prince, but moved to Zaire with their parents as a child . He attended boarding school in France and moved to the United States in 1979, where he attended Ohio University and Brooklyn College , among others .

At the 2017 Academy Awards , Peck received a nomination for his participation in the work from his older brother Raoul Peck in the Best Documentary category for the film I Am Not Your Negro . Before that he was involved as a producer - also on a documentary made by his brother - Assistance mortelle .

In addition to working in the film business, Peck works at Rutgers University .
