H 43 Lund

H 43 Lund is a Swedish handball club in Lund .

The association was founded on October 1, 1943 in a pastry shop by teacher Yngve Wallmer. H 43 Lund won the first game against Eslöv 4: 3.

The club operates women's and men's teams. The women's team plays in a syndicate with Lundagård under the name H43 Lundagård. The home games are played in the Färs & Frosta Sparbank Arena with a capacity of 3000 spectators .

The men's team played in the Elitserien i handboll för herrar up to and including the 2011/2012 season and was relegated to the Allsvenskan at the end of the season , but returned to the Elitserien after a year of abstinence. In December 2014, H 43 Lund would have to file for bankruptcy, which meant that the men's team was withdrawn from the Elitserien's game operations. The women's team also competed in the Elitserien i handboll för damer .
