Hannele Lauri

Ritva Hannele Lauri (born July 21, 1952 in Tampere ) is a Finnish actress . She became known for her comical television roles. On stage she has often played the roles of quick-witted seductresses.

Life

She was born as Ritva Hannele Markkula in the southwest town of Tampere to parents Arvi Markkula and Eine Markkula. On her mother's side, she is of Karelian origin. Hannele Lauri studied at the Helsinki Theater Academy from 1971–1975. After that she played in the city theaters of Jyväskylä and Turku . Since 1983 she has been engaged at the Helsinki City Theater. Ofelia is one of her early roles . Her later depictions include, for example, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs , Iso vaalee ("The Great Blonde "), Rahalla saa and The Vagina Monologues .

She became nationally famous for her comic roles in the television productions of Spede Pasanen. From 1991 to 1995, she starred in the television series Hynttyyt yhteen ( Moving In ) with actress Eija Vilpas . In 2003 she starred in the television series Kuumia aaltoja , a comical portrayal of a woman going through menopause.

In the 2010s she played supporting roles in several Finnish films, in addition to her theater work. She appeared regularly on television.

From 1976 to 1994 Hannele Lauri was married to the Finnish actor Hannu Lauri (* 1945). She has two sons with him, Sami and Tomi.
