The Hanoi Street Circuit is a race track in Nam Từ Liêm , Hanoi , capital of Vietnam . It is a street circuit designed for the Vietnam Grand Prix . The 5.565 km long route was designed by the route architect Hermann Tilke . The Hanoi Street Circuit was originally scheduled to make its debut on the Formula 1 calendar in spring 2020 . On March 13, the FIA ​​announced that the race scheduled for April 5 would be postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic .
