Hans Peter Treichler

Hans Peter Treichler (born December 16, 1941 in Zurich ; † January 19, 2019 in Richterswil ) was a Swiss journalist and author of both non-fiction and literary texts and interpreter of folk songs and chansons .

biography

Hans Peter Treichler studied German at the University of Zurich , where he received his doctorate in philosophy. He worked as a cultural and everyday historian for radio, television and the Musée Suisse group . He lived in Richterswil in the canton of Zurich . He published non-fiction books on folklore topics, literary translations , radio plays and various television programs.
