Harald Vock

Harald Vock (born February 15, 1925 in Hamburg ; † September 27, 1998 there ) was a German journalist , screenwriter , radio play writer , film director and television producer .

Career

Vock started as a police reporter for the press and radio after 1945. From 1955 to the 1980s he was head of entertainment for NDR television . Here he was the founder of the TV shows Music from Studio B , Shark Bar and Snack .

He also wrote scripts and radio plays. Around 1970 he directed several film comedies by the producer Karl Spiehs . As a source of ideas, author, director and producer, he was particularly involved in the creation of the crime series Sonderdezernat K1 and Die Männer vom K3 . For the latter, Vock received the pickle of the media women's meeting in 1994 . In 1981 he was awarded the Golden Gong for the book for the episode Die Rache des V-Mann of the series Special Department K1 .

In 1984 he published the crime novel Der V-Mann . In 1994 he initiated the police and court series In the Name of the Law , from 1997 he wrote for the series Coast Guard .

As head of NDR television entertainment, Vock had all recordings of the entertainment show Music from Studio B deleted except for one anniversary program.

Harald Vock found his final resting place in the Hamburg cemetery in Ohlsdorf .
