Harald Waitzbauer

Harald Waitzbauer (* 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author and art historian .

Life

Harald Waitzbauer has lived in the city of Salzburg since 1959 , studied journalism and art history at the University of Salzburg and worked on several research projects from 1982 to 1985. From 1986 Waitzbauer worked as a freelance journalist, author and historian. From 2001 to 2002 he was press officer in the Austrian presidential office in Vienna. Waitzbauer has been a full-time employee at the Salzburg Open Air Museum since 2003 , and he also writes books and essays on the history of Salzburg.
