Harold Solomon

Harold Solomon (born September 17, 1952 in Washington, DC ) is a retired American tennis player .

Between 1971 and 1984 he won 22 singles and one doubles tournaments (together with Eddie Dibbs ), including the international German tennis championships in 1980 at Hamburg's Rothenbaum. In 1976 he reached the singles final at the French Open . His highest world ranking position was 5th in 1980.

After his career as a player, Solomon became a tennis coach and coached Daniela Hantuchová and Anna Kurnikowa , among others .
