Hartmut Ostermann

Hartmut Ostermann (born October 22, 1951 in Altenau ) is a German entrepreneur .

Ostermann grew up in Worms . He completed an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer and attended evening high school. After doing his community service with the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund , he was able to realize his first retirement home projects with a Bavarian property developer. He then worked with the building contractor Udo Geitlinger.

Ostermann is the chairman of the supervisory board of the Victor's Bau + Wert AG group of companies based in Berlin, which includes the thirteen Victor's Residenz hotels and over 120 Pro Seniore senior citizen facilities .

In 2002 he was arrested for a few days because, according to the public prosecutor's office, a subsidiary of the "Pro Seniore Group", the "Pro Seniore Gesundheitsdienste", evaded taxes amounting to 17 million euros. The Saarbrücken Regional Court did not follow the prosecution's opinion and refused to open proceedings against Hartmut Ostermann. Ostermann was awarded a compensation claim for the brief remand.

Ostermann was a member of the Jusos and temporarily headed the SPD local association in Worms. In 1984 he left the party and two years later became a member of the FDP. He was chairman of the Saarbrücken district association until February 2012 , but did not stand for this office at the regular district party conference. In 1994 he was an FDP candidate for the Bundestag in Saarland. In February 2013 he resigned from the FDP.

After the state elections in 2009, party donations to the FDP, CDU and Greens led to a discussion about Ostermann's role in the formation of the Saarland Jamaica coalition . An investigative committee of the Saarland state parliament found no misconduct on the part of the people involved.

Sports

For TSG PFEDDERSHEIM Ostermann played active football . In the 1990s he was the club president of FC Homburg and from 1998 to 2007 he was president of 1. FC Saarbrücken . As a sponsor, he is still connected to both clubs: Victor's Residenz-Hotels are the main sponsor of 1. FC Saarbrücken; Forum GmbH, which belongs to the Victor's group of companies, was one of the main sponsors of FC Homburg. On September 30, 2013 Ostermann again took over the office of president at 1. FC Saarbrücken.
