Heino Kretzschmar

Wilhelm Heino Kretzschmar (born October 27, 1852 in Dresden ; † April 17, 1909 there ) was a German factory owner, politician ( NLP ) and MdL.

Live and act

The factory owner Kretzschmar was a co-owner of the Dresden lamp and chandelier factory Kretzschmar, Bösenberg & Co. in Serrestrasse 5/7. His company was one of the purveyors to the royal Saxon court.

Since its inception, Kretzschmar was a member of the Association of Saxon Industrialists , a founding member of the Dresden Colonial Association and chairman of the Dresden department of the German Colonial Society .

Around 1899, Kretzschmar, as the owner of the Kynast winery in Zitzschewig , which had been in the family since 1888, had the tower house there rebuilt, presumably by the builder F. A. Bernhard Große .

As a member of the National Liberal Party, he was a member of the state parliament in the Kingdom of Saxony for the 24th rural constituency from 1903 until his death on April 17, 1909 . Kretzschmar, who was awarded the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Albrecht, died in the Pension Görnemann in Dresden and was cremated in the Chemnitz crematorium .
