Heinrich Platzer is a former German skeleton athlete .

Heinrich Platzer was one of the best German skeleton pilots in the first half of the 1970s. At the German championships in 1971, which were held again for the first time since 1938, like all championships of the 1970s on the combined artificial ice rink at Königssee , Platzer was able to win the bronze medal behind Josef Grubmüller and Hans Kindl . In 1972 behind Reto Gansser and in 1973 and 1975 behind Rudi Häusler , he was German runner-up. At the Bavarian Championships, Platzer won the titles in 1971, 1972 and 1974 and in 1973 came second behind Grubmüller.
