Heinz Common

Heinz Gemein (born February 26, 1906 in Mayen ; † December 29, 1958 ) was a German politician ( GB / BHE ).

Life and work

After completing elementary school and attending grammar school, Gemein completed an apprenticeship in the trade, which he completed with the journeyman's examination. He initially worked in his parents' business, then completed a commercial training and then worked as a self-employed businessman. From 1936 to 1941 he worked as an employee in the public service and in the private sector. From 1941 to 1943 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . In 1944/45 he was again active in the private sector in Berlin .

Gemein fled Berlin in April 1945, first moved to Hesse and later settled in the Rhineland . Here he worked as a district and general agent for various companies. Since 1952 he has been the head of the press organization in Düsseldorf .

The
Common Party had been a member of the NSDAP since April 1, 1930 . He joined the GB / BHE in the early 1950s and was later elected to the state board of the GB / BHE North Rhine-Westphalia .

A member of
the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1957. He was drawn into parliament via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia.
