Helene Haluschka

Helene Haluschka (also: Hélène Haluschka , Hélène Haluschka-Grilliet , born December 10, 1892 in Montbéliard ( Doubs ) as Hélène Grilliet ; † December 20, 1974 in Graz ) was an Austrian writer.

Life

Helene Haluschka was the daughter of a French lawyer. After completing an apprenticeship as a teacher in her home country, she came to Austria to study in 1909 to improve her German. In Graz she met the lawyer and photographer Hugo Haluschka, whom she married in 1913.

Helene Haluschka published novels, short stories, books for young people and essays in German; she also translated from French.
