history
The company was founded in 1995 and initially offered fuel cell systems for didactic use. In June 2011, P21 GmbH, a provider of energy solutions for the telecommunications sector, was taken over. In 2012, sales were still EUR 7.7 million, fell to 4.93 in 2013 and rose to 18.92 in 2014.
In June 2014, FutureE Fuel Cell Solutions GmbH, a provider of stationary fuel cell systems, was taken over.
Due to a liquidity bottleneck , the company filed for bankruptcy in mid-October 2016 .

The company had been listed in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since June 2006 and in the Prime Standard from May 2015 to June 2017 . At times the share was also listed in the ÖkoDAX . After leaving the Prime Standard, it was still admitted to the Regulated Market .
The listing of the share ceased in spring 2020.
