Helmut Swiczinsky (born January 13, 1944 in Posen ) is an Austrian architect .

Life

Helmut Swiczinsky studied at the Technical University of Vienna and the Architectural Association in London architecture . In 1973 he was visiting professor at the Architectural Association in London. Helmut Swiczinsky is a permanent member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts based in Salzburg .

As an architect, he founded the Viennese group of architects Coop Himmelb (l) au with Wolf D. Prix and Michael Holzer in 1968 , from which he left as managing director in 2000 and partner in 2007.

Helmut Swiczinsky grew up in Mautern on the Danube and Vienna , where he still lives today. He has been married to Hilda Swiczinsky since 1968, with whom he has the three children Nana Swiczinsky (* 1969), Adam Wehsely-Swiczinsky (* 1971) and Benjamin Swiczinsky (* 1982).
