Hennes Bender (* 19 February 1968 in Bochum as Hans-Guenther Bender ) is a German comedian , voice actor and actor .

Private

Bender's family comes from Rüsselsheim , where both parents were employed by Opel . With the opening of the Opel plant in Bochum, the family moved to the Ruhr area . Hennes Bender grew up in Bochum. In 1990 he played in the Schauspielhaus Bochum to Hamlet . From 1992 to 1997 he appeared together with Heinz-Peter Lengkeit as the comedy duo Lengkeit versus Bender . In 1997 he finished his studies in film studies at the Ruhr University Bochum with the master's thesis Die Mittelaltersymbolik in the films Monty Pythons and Terry Gilliams with special consideration of the Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach .

Hennes Bender is married and lives in the Bochum district of Wiemelhausen .

From 1998 Bender presented the Sunday radio comedy program Toast on the Hessischer Rundfunk youth broadcaster , hr XXL . In it he presented his comedic talent, introduced new films and organized competitions with the listeners. For his cult radio comedy shit - the port police! He received the ARD Kurt Magnus Prize in 1999 .

He made his television debut in 2000 in the reality soap Money for Your Life at tm3 - an event that he says he doesn't like to be remembered about.

He appeared several times as a comedian in the television shows Zimmer frei! , NightWash and the Quatsch Comedy Club , was a guest comedian at Tramitz and Friends , 7 days, 7 heads and Frei Schnauze and also presented his stand-up program at the weekly show and TV total . In 2004 he received the German Comedy Award in the Best Newcomer category . Bender also appeared in the daily soap Unter Uns (as Hannes Binder ) and as a pyromaniac professor on Sesame Street and was a guest star in the ProSieben fairy tale hour alongside Christine Kaufmann . He is a regular guest on the show Four are the people .

He is on tour throughout Germany with his comedy solo programs. Together with Volker Naves, Ralf Weber and Moses W. he forms the music comedians group Burger Queen . The group disbanded in 2012. In 2005, Hennes Bender re-recorded the cashier song Menschenkatapult for its 20th anniversary. The song was released on CD Kunst in the same year . In November 2006 his first live DVD was released, Komm go away . In 2008 the live DVD followed Live in the city that doesn't exist! After a month-long preview tour, Bender's fourth solo program, No matter what is not, premiered on October 13, 2007 in Bielefeld .
