Henrik Ojamaa (born May 20, 1991 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian football player who acts as a center forward .
Career
society
Ojamaa began his career with the Estonian record champions FC Flora Tallinn . In 2007 he moved to Derby County's youth academy . After Ojamaa could not prevail in the professional squad, he was awarded to the Stafford Rangers in the Conference North . For the 2010/11 season he signed a two-year contract with Alemannia Aachen . He made his professional debut on November 27, 2010 in the home game against FC Augsburg (1: 3), when he came on for Babacar Guèye in the 88th minute .
During the winter break of 2010/11, Ojamaa attended the training camp of the Dutch second division club Fortuna Sittard in Belek, where he came, among other things, to an operation against Gaziantepspor . Following this, Fortuna signed him on loan for the second half of the season. In the summer of 2011, Alemannia Aachen and Ojamaa agreed to terminate the contract.
Shortly thereafter, Ojamaa signed a contract with Rovaniemen Palloseura from Veikkausliiga in Finland . With the new club, Ojamaa could not prevent relegation at the end of the season .
Move to Scotland
Since his contract with Rovaniemen PS expired at the end of the season and was not renewed, he was in trial training with FC Motherwell from the Scottish Premier League in November 2011 . Then the Polish first division club Śląsk Wrocław tested the Estonian in a trial training session in December. On January 4, 2012, he then signed a contract with Motherwell until the end of the season. Ojamaa made his debut three days later in the Scottish Cup against FC Queen's Park . There he met after his substitution for the Scots Robert McHugh , in the 90th minute of the game to 4-0 final score. He made his league debut on matchday 23 in a 1-0 home defeat by Inverness Caledonian Thistle . After a month in Scotland, the striker was able to fight for a regular place, and scored four times in the first five games for Motherwell; seven times by the end of the season and made numerous assists. Due to his accuracy at important games, he was honored with the title of SPL Young Professional of the Month in January 2012. Motherwell FC extended the contract with Ojamaa, which expired at the end of the season , until 2014.
Change to Poland
For the 2013/14 season , Ojamaa moved to the Polish champions and cup winners Legia Warsaw . There he signed a three-year contract. In the 2013/2014 season he was used 33 times in the Ekstraklasa and scored 2 goals. With Legia he became Polish champion in his first season. In 2014 he was loaned to Motherwell FC for 1 year. In early 2015, he played on loan at the Norwegian club Sarpsborg 08 FF .
Via England and Austria to the Netherlands
After returning to Poland, he first moved to England in September 2015 to join third division club Swindon Town . But already in January 2016 he returned to the mainland, this time he moved to Austria for second division club FC Wacker Innsbruck . On June 20, 2016, his contract with the Tyroleans was terminated.
One day after the contract was terminated, he moved to the Netherlands for first division promoted Go Ahead Eagles Deventer , where he received a contract valid until June 2018. In January 2017, Ojamaa was awarded to Dundee FC .
National team
Between 2007 and 2008 Ojamaa played 13 times for the Estonian U-19 juniors , and between 2009 and 2011 for the U-21s. In his third and final game for the Estonian U-21s against Luxembourg in March 2011, Ojamaa scored a hat trick . In the 53rd minute of the game he was replaced by Albert Prosa , who then scored to make it 6-0. He made his debut for the Estonian national team in a friendly against Croatia in late May 2012 . Under national coach Tarmo Rüütli he was on the starting line-up and was replaced by Kaimar Saag in the 58th minute .
