Herdeiro Lucau (born April 7, 1987 in Gabina , Angola ) is a Swedish handball goalkeeper of Angolan origin.
Lucau played for the Swedish first division club IF Guif until the beginning of November 2008 . On November 6, 2008, THW Kiel signed him on at short notice after Andreas Palicka was injured and was out for several weeks. After two Bundesliga appearances, he returned to IF GUIF. Along with Palicka and Johan Sjöstrand, Lucau is one of Sweden's best young goalkeepers. Palicka himself helped make Lucau's move possible. From summer 2009 to spring 2010 Lucau played for VfL Gummersbach . Then he was loaned to the Spanish first division club BM Valladolid until the summer of 2010 . Lucau then moved to Portland San Antonio . After San Antonio ran into financial difficulties, he joined the Swedish association IFK Kristianstad in July 2012 . In 2014 he returned to Eskilstuna Guif again. He has been playing for Skånela IF since 2020.
He played two international matches for Sweden . Since 2019 he has been guarding the goal of the national team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo .
