Hermann Fauser

Hermann Fauser (* 1874 in Heilbronn , † 1947 in Tegernsee ) was a German designer and sculptor .

Fauser was a son of the modeller Louis Fauser , who was employed by the silver goods factory Peter Bruckmann & Sons in Heilbronn . He studied in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart .

Soon after the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900, at which Kayserzinn was very successful, he started working for Engelbert Kayser . The work in Kayser's studio lasted about five years. From around 1906 he was an assistant teacher and later a teacher at the technical college for the metal industry in Iserlohn . At the exhibition of the German Werkbund in Cologne in 1914 , works by Fauser could be seen. From 1923 he was a professor at the municipal craft and applied arts school in Hildesheim. In 1934 he moved to Munich and in 1935 he finished his work as a professor.
