Hermelinghof

The Hermelinghof was loud Hermann Rothert "the primordial cell of Lippstadt ". It was located in the northwest of today's city, outside of the first city foundation. Presumably there was also a castle of the noble lords of the Lippe before the Augustinian monastery with its church St. Marien , today's ruins of the monastery , was founded.
