Hiroe Amano
Hiroe Amano ( Japanese 天野 博 江 , Amano Hiroe ; * November 1943 ) is a former Japanese badminton player .
Career
Hiroe Amano won her first Japanese championship title in 1964 in women's doubles with Noriko Takagi . Both were able to defend this title until 1967. From 1970 to 1972 Amano secured three mixed titles in a row with Eiichi Sakai .
In 1966 she won her first international laurels at the Asian Games when she won silver in doubles with Tomoko Takahashi . In 1966 and 1969, she was twice in the finals of this competition with the Japanese Uber Cup team. Japan won both finals at this women's team championship. In 1978 she acted as the coach of the victorious Japanese Uber Cup team. In 1968 and 1969 she was in the finals of All England , but lost both finals in women's doubles. In 1966 and 1967 she had previously won the Denmark Open , also in women's doubles.
