The Hoch-Ybrig is a hiking and winter sports area in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland (municipalities of Unteriberg , Oberiberg ). Ybrig is the local dialect form for Iberg ( Swiss German ; «de Ybrig»).

The Hoch-Ybrig is dominated by the mountain peaks Drusberg ( 2282  m above sea level ), Forstberg and Twäriberg. This mountain range forms a border ridge against the Muotatal and the Glarnerland .

Lanes

A cable car leads from Weglosen ( 1035  m above sea level ) in the Waag valley , which can be reached by car from Unteriberg , to Seebli ( 1460  m above sea level ), which lies at the foot of the Roggenstock . From Seebli, chairlifts continue to the Spirstock ( 1771  m above sea level ) and Sternen (1856 m) mountain stations .

Culture

From 2001 to 2011 the Open Air Hoch-Ybrig took place in Hoch-Ybrig every June .
