Hochrhein-Hotzenwald-Weg
The Hochrhein-Hotzenwald-Weg is a 165-kilometer long -distance cycle path in the German - Swiss border area. It runs from Constance to Weil am Rhein and crosses the border eight times to Schaffhausen . The valley of the High Rhine separates the Hotzenwald from the Swiss Table Jura . The cycle path is part of the 520 km long Rhine Valley cycle path .
Route
The Hochrhein-Hotzenwald-Radweg can generally be divided into three stages:
- Stage 1: Konstanz - Neuhausen (approx. 65 km)
- via: Allensbach , Markelfingen , Radolfzell , Horn , Öhningen , Stein am Rhein , Hemishofen , Gailingen , Schaffhausen
- Stage 2: Neuhausen - Bad Säckingen (approx. 70 km)
- via: Jestetten , Hüntwangen , Hohentengen on the Upper Rhine , Waldshut , Albbruck , Laufenburg (Baden) , Murg
- Stage 3: Bad Säckingen - Weil am Rhein (approx. 35 km)
- via: Schwörstadt , Lörrach
